A well-compiled unbeaten century by opener Siddesh Wath (126 n.o., 115b,16x4, 2x6) and his valuable unfinished 195-run fourth wicket partnership with Mohit Kale (73 n.o., 99b, 7x4), enabled Vidarbha to register a well-earned seven-wicket win over Gujarat in the BCCI Men's U-23 One-Day Tournament's Plate 'A' Game played at the PET Grounds in Mandya yesterday.
Winning the toss and electing to bat, Gujarat, well-served by Rahul Vipul Shah (79, 109b, 4x4, 2x6), Karan Trivedi (47, 36b, 5x4, 1x6) and Saurav D. Chauhan (42, 71b, 5x4), posted a total of 220 for nine in 50 overs. Mohit Raut was impressive with figures of three for 24 for Vidarbha.
