Basava Samithi has organised 27th Basava Jayanti at JSS High School and PU College in J.P. Nagar tomorrow (July 15) at 10.30 am. Sri Immadi Chennamalla Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion. KSOU Professor Dr. Jyothi Shankar will deliver a lecture on ‘Mahamaneya Mahabelaku, Basavanna.’ On the occasion, violinists Mysore M. Nagaraj and Dr. Mysore M. Manjunath will be felicitated and meritorious children will be presented Pratibha Puraskar. Samithi President Bank Shivakumar will preside.
