Mysore/Mysuru: Accusing MP Pratap Simha of insulting Advocates, several Lawyers on Monday submitted a memorandum to Mysore Bar Association seeking to initiate legal action against the MP for his alleged remarks that has hurt the legal fraternity.
Charging Simha of making remarks against the legal fraternity while launching a verbal attack against former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah, who had served as a Lawyer at Mysuru in the past, the Advocates strongly condemned the MP’s remarks which allegedly disparaged the legal profession. Terming the remarks as an insult to them, they urged the Bar Association to take action against the MP.
