With the Government conducting a competitive exam for recruitment to Group-C Non-technical posts on Dec. 4, 5 and 19 in various centres of the city, the Police have clamped prohibitory orders in 200 mts radius of all the exam centres on these dates, in order to ensure smooth conduct of the exam. The ban orders will be in force from 6 am to 6 pm on the said three days (Dec. 4, 5 and 19) and photocopy shops in the vicinity of all the centres have been asked to shut down for the day. Today, the exam was held at two centres — Maharani’s Arts College for Women and Government Bifurcated Maharaja PU College, Nazarbad. Tomorrow (Dec. 5), the exam will take place at 20 centres spread across the city. On Dec. 19, the competitive exam will be held at 23 centres, according to a press release.
