As a measure to prevent spread of the deadly Lump Skin Disease (LSD) cattle pandemic, the Mysuru Deputy Commissioner has banned all cattle fairs and transportation of cattle in the district till Feb.10. Accordingly, cattle fairs and inter-District and inter-State transportation of cattle has been barred as a measure to check the spread of the disease, according to a press release.
