Mysuru: Additional Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kumar has asked officials to work hard to implement the Kaushalya Karnataka (Skill Development) Programme, an ambitious scheme of Chief Minister Siddharamaiah to create jobs and make youth self-reliant.
He was holding a review meeting regarding the number of registrations under the Kaushalya Abhivridhi Yojane and the progress so far, at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, here on Monday. He said, nearly 5 lakh youth (both boys and girls) in the State have to be trained under Kaushalya scheme and about 70 per cent jobs have to be created for them. In this direction, the district and the taluk level officials have to strive hard to meet the target.
