Mysuru: As part of an initiative to educate garment workers on Labour Laws and Indian Motor Vehicles (IMV) Act, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), in association with Mysore Bar Association and Labour Department, held an awareness programme at Shahi Exports (P) Ltd., Koorgalli Industrial Area in city, on Monday.
Speaking after inaugurating the programme, Senior Civil Judge and DLSA Member-Secretary B.P. Devamane said that most of the garment workers may be unaware of Labour Laws and the provisions of the IMV Act and this programme was aimed at educating them on these issues.
