Mysuru: The Samyukta Karnataka Autorickshaw Drivers and Owners Welfare Association has convened a meeting of autorickshaw/light vehicle drivers and owners at the Government Guest House premises in Nazarbad at 11 am on Aug. 18.
The meeting will discuss issues such as joining hands with Government to provide relief to flood-hit families, urging RTO to renew FCs of vehicles which have completed 15 years of registration, establishment of vehicle bays at towns and cities, encouraging drivers by rewarding them with awards and formation of ‘School Vehicle Safety Committee’ as directed by the Commissioner of Public Instruction, among others .
