Bengaluru: Twenty-five days after being sworn-in as the Chief Minister, following the collapse of the JD(S)-Congress Government, CM B.S. Yediyurappa (BSY) inducted 17 members into his Cabinet at Raj Bhavan here this morning.
The Ministers inducted are: Jagadish Shettar (Hubbali-Dharwad Central MLA), a former Chief Minister; K.S. Eshwarappa (Shivamogga City) and R. Ashoka (Padmanabha Nagar), both ex-Deputy Chief Ministers; Laxman Savadi, who is not a member of the Assembly or Council; H. Nagesh, an Independent MLA from Mulbagal; MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary; Govind Karjol (Mudhol); Dr. C.N. Ashwath Narayan (Malleswaram); B. Sriramulu (Molakalmuru); S. Suresh Kumar (Rajajinagar); V. Somanna (Govindarajnagar); C.T. Ravi (Chikkamagalur); Basavaraj Bommai (Shiggoan); J.C. Madhu Swamy (Chikkanayakanahalli); C.C. Patil (Nargund); Prabhu Chauhan (Aurad) and Shashikala Jolle (Nippani), the only woman Minister.
