Mysore/Mysuru: For Sustainable Materials Management (SMM), the Standing Committee on Works of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has agreed to set up a unit to deal with Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste which has become a big headache to deal with it. It will be a joint venture project between the MCC and a private firm.
The Works Committee meeting held here in the Old Council Hall here on Thursday and took this decision. The same will be tabled before the General Body meeting where members will deliberate. Once approved, the work on identifying a suitable land will begin.
