Mysore/Mysuru: ASG Eye Hospital has launched a month-long healthcare initiative offering free eye consultations and discounts on various services at its facility on Narayana Shastri Road near Siddappa Square in city.

The camp will run from May 4 to June 4, benefiting residents of Mysuru and nearby areas.

Under the programme, patients can avail free consultations from experienced specialists, enabling early detection and timely treatment of eye conditions.

The hospital is also offering a discount on optical services, diagnostic tests and surgical procedures for cash-paying patients. A complimentary LASIK evaluation worth Rs. 3,600 is another key highlight of the initiative.

Dr. H.M. Mahesh Kumar, Vitreoretinal Surgeon and Uvea Specialist at ASG Eye Hospital, said the camp is especially relevant during summer, when eye-related issues tend to increase.

“Conditions such as dry eyes, allergic conjunctivitis, styes and infections are common during this season. This initiative aims to promote early consultation and preventive care,” he said.

He advised the public to stay hydrated, wear UV-protective sunglasses, maintain eye hygiene, avoid rubbing eyes and limit screen time.

He also stressed seeking prompt medical attention for symptoms like redness, pain or vision changes.

For registration, contact Mob: 78498-32991.
