Mysuru: City’s well-known young artist Baadal Nanjundaswamy, speaking to Star of Mysore this morning, appreciated the opinion of SOM “An Eyesore at Mysore Railway Station” about the painting of pillars at the City Railway Station and said that the Railways have simply ruined the beauty of the heritage building in the name of beautifying it. “It is surprising that the Railways did not realise that no heritage building needs any further beautification. It only requires maintenance and restoration,” he said. Further, the SOM report generated widespread criticism against Railways on the social media.
