Mysore Open Forum has organised staging of Kannada play ‘QED,’ which is based on the life of Noble Laureate American Physicist Prof. Richard Feynman, by Arivu Ranga at 10.30 am on Dec. 19 at Kalpa Kshetra Auditorium, #581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 1st Phase, Mysuru. Prof. Richard Feynman is a well-known physicist known for ground-breaking work on Quantum Mechanics, the theory of Quantum Electrodynamics (QED), the physics of the superfluidity of supercooled Liquid Helium.

For contributions to the development of QED, Feynman received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1965 jointly with Julian Schwinger and Shinchiro Tomonaga. He was associated with the Los Alamos Laboratories and was involved in the Manhattan Project that led to the development of the Atom Bomb. Yateesh N. Kollegal has directed the play, which is based on American playwright Peter Parnell’s English play and translated to Kannada by Shashidhar Dongre. For details, contact Mob: 94498-19636.
