Mysuru: The District Consumer Information Centre has advised the beneficiaries of Rajiv Gandhi Rural Housing Scheme, who have been denied civic amenities by the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) to approach the permanent Lok Adalat Court here for getting justice.
Addressing a press meet here yesterday, the Centre President H.R. Sundareshan said that the beneficiaries of the scheme were selected and allotted Ashraya houses after consulting people representatives. But the authorities had failed to provide basic amenities such as drinking water, drainage, roads, power, etc., even after more than 10 years of allotment.
