Melukote: The State Government has appointed Dr. Bhashyam Swamiji, Founder of Sri Yoganarasimhaswamy Temple at Vijayanagar in Mysuru, as the Priest of Yoganarasimhaswamy Temple at Melukote. Dr. Bhashyam Swamiji has been appointed in the absence of the Temple Priest S. Narayana Bhattar. Government Secretary Bhanumathi, in an order passed on Nov.11, has directed Bhashyam Swamiji to perform all pujas and rituals at the temple in the absence of Narayana Bhattar.
