Mysore/Mysuru: Retired Additional Commissioner of Commercial Taxes Dr. Helavarahundi Siddappa has been appointed as the President of Mysuru District Unit of Akhila Bharatha Sharana Sahitya Parishat.
A resident of Siddarthanagar in city and a native of Helavarahundi in T. Narasipur taluk, Dr. Siddappa had his education at T. Narasipur, Maharaja's College and Manasagangothri in Mysuru city. Beginning his career as a lecturer, Dr. Siddappa later passed competitive exams and was appointed as Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies.
