Bengaluru: Dr. V. Lokesh has been appointed as the new Director of the State-run Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology Cancer Research and Training Centre, Bengaluru, for a period of three years. As the current Director Dr. C. Ramachandra's tenure ended in August 2022, Dr. Lokesh took charge after a Government order to this effect was issued on Monday.
Dr. Lokesh was working as the Professor and Head of the Institute's Department of Radiation Oncology.
