Applications invited for IES and ISS

Union Public Service Commission has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill up vacant posts in Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) through a competitive examination. For IES, the candidate should possess a PG degree in Economics, Applied Economics or Business Economics while for ISS, the qualification is PG in Statistics, Applied Statistics or Mathematical Statistics and the age bracket is 21 yrs to 32 yrs as on Aug.1 which is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
