The Department of Collegiate and Technical Education has invited online applications from eligible candidates, who have passed SSLC, for admission to Diploma courses in Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electricals & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Machine Tool Technology and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.

Applications can be downloaded from the official website of the Department and the last date to submit the filled application is May 16 by 5 pm.

Admission seats will be announced based on merit and according to roster system.

Admission to non-engineering courses such as Diploma in Commercial Practice (Kannada) and Commercial Practice (English) will be done on offline mode based on merit and roster system by Principals of respective colleges.

For details, interested may contact the Government or aided polytechnic colleges.

Candidates may also visit dtek.karnataka.gov.in, according to a press release from the Principal, Government CPC Polytechnic, according to a press release.
