Department of Youth Empower-ment and Sports has invited applications from sportspersons studying in middle and high schools for award of scholarships by the government for 2018-19. Eligible students should have won first place in State or National-level sports events held between Jan.1, 2017 and Dec.31, 2017. The prescribed applications can be obtained from the Assistant Director, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Nazarbad, Mysuru and submitted before Aug.25.
