District Industries Centre (DIC)in providing loans to first time entrepreneurs to a maximum of Rs.10 lakh project cost for a manufacturing unit and also for service sector through various financial institutions under the CM’s Self Employment Scheme. The applicants should be between 21 and 35 years, relaxable to 45 years for special category and should have passed 8th standard. The loan amount will be 25% of project cost (maximum Rs. 2.5 lakh) for general category and 30% for special category (maximum of Rs. 3.5 lakh).
