The District Administration in association with the Labour Department, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Mysuru Bar association, National Child Labour Eradication Society and voluntary organisations, will be observing Anti-Child Labour Day at the Institution of Engineers on JLB road at 10 am tomorrow (June 29). Principal District and Sessions Judge S.K. Vantigodi, who is also the DLSA Chairman, will inaugurate the event. ADC B.R. Poornima will preside. Senior Civil Judge and DLSA Member-Secretary B.P. Devamane, City Police Commissioner K.T. Balakrishna, SP C.B. Rishyanth, Mysuru AC Shivegowda will be the guests of honour. The event will feature a lecture on Anti Child Labour Act, according to a release.
