The Following persons/ institutions have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under its ‘Adoption of Animals’ scheme by paying the adoption fee: Anirudh Basavraj Paramshetti, Belagavi - Black Panther and Indian Leopard - Rs.70,000; Lions Club of Mysore Palace City and Geonet Consultant, Mysuru - Lion - Rs.1,00,000; Lions Club of Mysore - Nisarga and Mayuri, Mysuru - Lion - Rs.1,00,000; Lion Dr. G.A. Ramesh MJF, District Governor, Lions Club International District - Elephant - Rs.1,75,000, according to a press release from the Zoo.
