Strongly condemning the State Government for unscientific implementation of the Gratuity Act, Anganwadi workers and helpers, under the banner of AITUC affiliated Karnataka State Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Federation, will stage a Statewide demonstration in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s Offices across Karnataka tomorrow (May 17). Accusing the Government of implementing Gratuity with effect only from Apr.1, 2023, instead of distributing Gratuity to all those who have retired since 2011, the Federation, in a press release, alleged that it is nothing but deprivation of social justice to thousands of retired Anganwadi workers, who have toiled hard. Contact Mob: 76761-58149.
