Mysuru: Ananta Hegde has been appointed as the Managing Director (MD) of Bank Note Paper Mill India Private Limited (BNPMIPL), Mysuru. He assumed the charge of MD of the company on June 16.
He was earlier working with BNPMIPL and superannuated from the services of the company as Chief General Manager (Technical). Prior to BNPMIPL, he has worked with Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Limited (BRBNMPL), Vikrant Tyres Ltd. and SDM College of Arts, Science & Commerce. He is a Post Graduate in Chemistry with Diploma in Management having accomplished service in various companies with over 37 years.
Bank Note Paper Mill is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of Government of India, jointly promoted by Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) — A Govt. of India enterprise — and BRBNMPL — A wholly owned subsidiary of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) engaged in production of Bank Note Papers to meet the requirement of the nation.
BNPMIPL caters to the requirement of currency papers of the four Presses situated at Mysuru & Salboni belonging to BRBNMPL and Dewas & Nasik belonging to SPMCIL.
