This open pit is an invitation for fatality for hundreds of walkers at the corner of Cheluvamba Park on KRS Road. The SOM reader, who has sent this photo, says that varieties of wild insects have made this place their habitat and all kinds of undue bushes have grown beyond recognition. Wide open well of death poses a threat for any calamity by slip of foot by walkers especially senior citizen at majority. Authorities concerned are urged to close the pit and make a safe way for people to walk.
