Mysuru: Congress leaders in Karnataka are rattled by the visit of Amit Shah to Karnataka, said former Minister and ‘Vistharak’ for Mysuru District S. Suresh Kumar. He was addressing a section of party workers at a convention hall at Nazarbad on Aug. 16.
“Amit Shah’s visit has forced Congress to have a rethink on its vote-bank politics and revise its electoral strategy. Without any alternative, they are criticising BJP as they have lost the confidence of the people of Karnataka,” he said. Calling upon the party workers to highlight the anti-people policies of Congress government in Karnataka and the good work being done by the Narendra Modi Government at the Centre, Suresh Kumar said that Congress leaders had lost the confidence of the people. “Make use of the unpopularity of Congress government and bring back BJP to power,” he said.
