Mysuru: The three-day 25th annual conference of Medical Bio-chemists AMBICON-2017, organised by the Association of Medical Bio-chemists of India (AMBI) commenced at Lalitha Mahal Palace Hotel here on Nov.17. Inaugurating the conference, Dr. C.N. Manjunath, Director of Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, Bengaluru, said that a doctor’s profession was a very stressful job with patients having a lot of expectations. He observed that India has become a global capital for many diseases and added that the living style of people too was a contributory factor.
