Mysore/Mysuru: For the betterment of special children, Government of India has said that all the Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools across the country should have one Special Educator, said Dr. M. Pushpavathi, Director of All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru.

Delivering the presidential address during the two-day national seminar on ‘Paradigm Shift in Early Childhood Education for Children with Communication Disorders’ organised by Department of Special Education of AIISH at its seminar hall here on Monday, she said “Once these children get the facility of Special Educators, they can provide them better coaching method. Special Educators will teach special children in a simple method. In Western countries, each and every school will have a Speech Pathologist, Special Educators, Physiotherapist and Application Therapists.”
