Alamengada P. Vittal (73), retired Assistant Commissioner, Department of Commercial Tax and a resident of Jayalakshmipuram, passed away at Bengaluru last evening following a massive heart attack. Presently, he was serving as President of Jayalakshmipuram Kodava Association. He leaves behind his wife Shanthi, sons Roshan and Rahul and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral will be held at Chirashanthidhama in Gokulam on Nov.4 (Sunday) at 12.30 pm.
