As part of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru, has organised a Facebook live Phone-in Programme tomorrow (Dec.3) between 11 am and 11.30 am on the topic 'Welfare Measures for Persons with Disabilities.' Interested may call Ph: 0821-2502108. As per the RPWD Act, the State is required to provide rehabilitation, education, economic opportunities, barrier-free environment and other supporting services so as to facilitate the integration of persons with disabilities in the mainstream accordingly. This phone-in programme will cover the basic welfare services provided by the Government to persons with communication disorders. The Resource Persons are: R.
