Bengaluru: With the Assembly poll just a few months away, the State government has gone on a overdrive for recruitment to vacant posts. Additional Chief secretary T.M Vijay Bhaskar in a circular to departmental heads, has instructed to bring changes to cadre and recruitment rules to facilitate direct recruitment and fill them through promotions. Many posts in departments such as education, Revenue, Law, health and family welfare etc., are vacant for many years. As such, the government has planned to bring amendments to the cadre & recruitment rules to facilitate appointments in various departments in a accordance with the educational qualifications and required technical skills.
