Mysuru/Mysore: A Private Finance Company agent has allegedly cheated the company to the tune of Rs. 31 lakh which he had collected from various depositors.
The accused is Somesh, an agent at Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company near Jaganmohan Palace in city. Somesh, who had collected a total of Rs. 30,96,901 from various depositors from Jan. 29 to Feb. 1, has not deposited the amount to the company and has gone absconding, according to the complaint lodged by the private finance company Manager Ramesh.
