Mysuru: The more than a century-old State-run K.R. Hospital, popular as Doddaspathre among rural masses, has got an advanced and hi-tech CT scan machine becoming the only Government Hospital after All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi to have such a facility.
The machine, Siemens Somatom Definition Dual Source 128 slice CT scanner facility, one of the most advanced CT scanners to be installed in India, will cater to hundreds of poor patients who throng the Hospital every day besides ensuring obstacle-free examination.
