The Backward Classes Welfare Department (BCWD), Mysuru, which had invited applications from Backward Class Community students for admission to Post-Matric Boys and Girls Hostels for the academic year 2021-22, has extended the last date to Jan. 27. Eligible boys and girls from Category-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and SC/ST and OBC communities may submit applications online at http://www.backwardclasses.kar.nic.in/. The annual family income of Aategory-1, SC and ST community students must not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh and Category-2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and other OBC community students must not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.
