The Social Welfare Department has invited online applications from eligible SC community students for admission to 6th standard in prestigious schools. Applications can be submitted online through department website https://swdservices.karnataka.gov.in/Education Prestigious between Apr. 15 and May 4. After applying online, students are required to submit required documents at the office of the Joint Director, Social Welfare Department, on May 5 by 5.30 pm. Preference will be given for children of Pourakarmikas, Safaikarmacharis, burial ground workers, Devadasis, physically challenged, children orphaned during COVID pandemic and other natural disasters, single parent children, Ex-servicemen, slum dwellers, children of farm labourers, victims of violence and children freed from bonded labour.
