Mysuru: Azim Premji University, PES Campus, Electronics City, Hosur Road, Bengaluru, has begun admissions to its M.Ed. Programme (Master of Education) 2018-20. The NCTE approved M.Ed. programme aims to develop teacher educators with sound disciplinary knowledge along with critical perspectives on education and capable of analysis, reflection and meaningful action. Eligibility: The eligibility criteria for the M. Ed. Programme are as below: Undergraduate degree in Sciences/ Mathematics/Engineering with at least 50% marks or equivalent; Teacher education degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent in any one of the following — B.Ed., B.Sc.B.Ed., B.El.Ed. (with optional Mathematics / Science), D.El.Ed. with an Undergraduate Degree (with 50% marks in each). Relevant school teaching experience and/or a Master’s degree in Science/Mathematics will be an added advantage. Students can apply online on the University website: www.azimpremjiuniversity.edu.in/M.Ed. Applicants will be selected based on a written test and personal interview for shortlisted candidates. Applications for admissions close on May 15 followed by an entrance test on May 27. The academic session starts in July 2018.
