The State Government has appointed T.Narasipur Tahsildar as the Administrator of Sri Gunja-narasimhaswamy Charitable Trust at T. Narasipur town in Mysuru district, following a Court order terminating the Administrative Board of the Trust.
Following the appointment, the Tahsildar will take care of all the eight landed properties belonging to the Trust and educational institutions coming under the Trust. The Tahsildar will also maintain accounts of the Trust in respect of donations made by devotees. Also, the Government has asked devotees and other members of the public not to have any monetary or other transactions with the erstwhile members of the Board, according to a press release.
