Bengaluru" Adichunchanagiri Mutt had organised a padayatra titled ‘Kodagige Namma Koduge’ in city on Sunday to collect contributions for flood relief works in Kodagu.
The padayatra was led by the Mutt Seer Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji. Former Deputy Chief Minister R. Ashok, MLAs V. Somanna, M. Krishnappa, K. Gopalaiah, former MLA Shivaramegowda and others too participated. The padayatra commenced from the Srikshetra in Vijayanagar and after offering puja at Shanimahatma Temple and traversing through Magadi Road, culminated at Sankashtahara Ganapati Temple with the Swamiji appealing people all through to contribute liberally.
