Chamarajanagar: Additional DC K.M. Gayathri has assumed charge as In-Charge Commissioner of City Municipal Council. Incumbent Commissioner M. Rajanna had been dismissed from service alleging misappropriation of funds and was relieved on Nov. 23. DC B. Ramu, in the interest of smoother functioning of the Municipality, had issued an order indicating that Additional DC would take over as In-charge Municipal Commissioner. She was welcomed by the staff of the Municipality on Nov.29.
