Bengaluru: Kannada actor Dileep Raj (48) passed away here this morning after suffering a heart attack. Sources said that the actor suffered an attack at 6 am and was rushed to Apollo Hospital in Kumaraswamy Layout. Unfortunately, efforts to revive failed and the doctors declared him dead. He is survived by his wife Srividya and two daughters, Dhruti and Aditi.
Dileep has been one of the popular actors in Kannada industry. He earned immense popularity through serials such as ‘Hitler Kalyana’, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, ‘Male Billu’, ‘Mangalya’, ‘Janani’ among others. He also featured in movies such as ‘Milana’, ‘U-Turn’ and many more.
His sudden death came as a shock for entertainment industry. Following his death, many personalities from Kannada Film and Entertainment Industry rushed to his residence and paid tributes.
