Mysore/Mysuru: The fund raising drive for the construction of Sri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, the birth place of Lord Ram, began in the city this morning with the Mysuru Unit of Sri Ramajanmabhoomi Theertha Kshetra Trust starting ‘Sri Ram Mandir Nirman Nidhi Samarpana Abhiyana’ in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple at Palace North Gate.
Actor Abhishek Ambarish, son of late actor Ambarish and actress Sumalatha (now Mandya MP) couple, launched the fund collection campaign by offering prayers at the temple and donating Rs.5,000.
