Mysuru; Seven inmates of Vani Vilas Girls Hostel in Nazarbad, who were trapped in an accidental fire, were rescued by Fire personnel late on Tuesday night. The accidental fire is said to have broken out at about 12.30 midnight when seven girl students of the Hostel who were trapped in a room began to scream for help. Hearing the screams, other hostel mates alerted the Fire Station personnel, who rushed to the spot and brought out the trapped girls to safety, before dousing out the fire. But it was not immediately known how the fire broke-out. Nazarbad Police, who have registered a case, are investigating the cause of the fire.
