Accident victim succumbs

Mysuru: An accident victim, who was being treated in city, succumbed to his injuries last night. The deceased has been identified as Shivanna Nayaka (48), a resident of Gokulam Fourth Stage in city. Shivanna Nayaka was coming to the city on his scooter travelling on Mysuru-T.Narasipur Road at about 5.30 pm on Dec.23, when his scooter was knocked down from behind by a speeding motorcycle near  Rajshekar Hospital. The seriously injured Shivanna Nayaka was rushed to a nearby hospital and later shifted to JSS Hospital, where he breathed his last at about 8.30 pm yesterday. Siddartha Traffic Police have registered a case in this regard.
