Mysuru: A pedestrian, who was seriously injured in a road accident on KRS Road and admitted to a private hospital on Tuesday has breathed his last at the hospital on Wednesday.
The deceased is Chikkanna, a resident of Basthipura in the taluk. He walking on Hootagalli-KRS Road near BEML on Tuesday night, when an unidentified vehicle hit him and sped away resulting in Chikkanna suffering serious injuries. He was admitted to a private hospital in city, where he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.
