Mysuru: The Academic Council of the University of Mysore at its meeting this morning, approved giving permission to allow intake of more students for the next academic year (2018-19), at some Government Colleges, only after taking an undertaking from the Principals concerned of providing basic facilities to students at these colleges.
Member of the University of Mysore Education Committee Ramachandregowda suggested that letters from Principals of Government Colleges concerned to provide basic facilities in their colleges could be taken and allow the colleges to admit more students. This suggestion was approved at the meeting.
