The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has increased the charges for update and enrolment of Aadhaar cards as follows: 1. New enrolment - Nil. 2. Mandatory Biometric update (for age 5-7 years and 15-17 years) - Nil. 3. Date of birth, gender, name update - Rs. 75. 4. Biometric update (other than mandatory) - Rs. 125. 5. Print Aadhaar - Rs. 40. 6. Home update - Rs. 700 plus update charges. The new rates have come into effect from Oct. 1, 2025, according to a press release from Col. N.G. Krishna Prasad (retd.), Centre Manager, Aadhaar Seva Kendra, Mysuru.
