The Food & Civil Supplies Dept. will be launching a drive for linking Aadhaar card with Ration card at all Fair Price Shops (FPS) from Aug. 1 to 10 through e-KYC. As such, all ration card holders (BPL and APL), who have not linked their Aadhaar card, can do so by Aug. 10. The Department will stop distribution of ration to such card holders who fail to get their Aadhaar card linked during this period, according to a press release. The linking (e-KYC) will be done at all FPS in the district till Aug. 10, the release further said.
