Mysuru: Mysore Open Forum has organised ‘Shakti Swaroopini Devi — A Music & Dance filled Ode to the Goddess’ at 6.30 pm on Oct.12 at Kalpa Kshetra auditorium, 581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 1st Phase, Mysuru .
Devi, Durga, Kali, Shakti, Mata are synonyms for the Divine Goddess revered all over India in widely different formats utilising various languages. The programme will pay obeisance to the Goddess using Kathakali, South Indian Classical Music, Folk Music, Story-telling and visual media involving Devi worship from different parts of India.
