Mysuru: City’s N. Ranga Rao and Sons team emerged as winner in the 4th edition of CII Karnataka Corporate Cricket League – Mysuru Zonal Round, held at BEML Cricket Ground, here recently.
In the finals, N. Ranga Rao and Sons defeated Automotive Axles.
The tournament witnessed participation of more than 10 corporate teams from the region, reflecting strong industry engagement and reinforcing the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork and camaraderie among member organisations.
At the valedictory session, Nagaraja Gargeshwari, Immediate Past Chairman, CII Mysuru Zone and President and Director, Automotive Axles Ltd, honoured the winning and runner-up teams.
Speaking on the occasion, Nagaraja Gargeshwari said, “The CII Karnataka Corporate Cricket League is a commendable initiative that brings together industry members on a common platform beyond business, fostering team spirit, mutual bonding and a culture of healthy competition. It is encouraging to witness such enthusiastic participation from companies in Mysuru.”
The event served as an engaging platform for corporates to strengthen relationships, promote employee engagement, and celebrate the spirit of unity through sport.
